The day started a bit late comparing with other days. Woke up and grabbed coffee from the “Salt” that offers really good coffee. We were very close to the ocean but couldn’t spend enough time there. So, we have decided to go to Inani Beach. Since our flight was at 4:45 PM, we checkout out of the hotel and took an auto from the centre that will cost you 600/700 BDT (Up & Down). We had to bargain and decided from the city centre. The Inani beach is far from the city centre and it will take around 50 minutes to reach and 50 more minutes to come back. We have taken the phone number of the auto driver and fixed time to come back. Please remember they charge extra after 1:30 minutes waiting time. I would suggest you to count time for avoiding any miscommunication.
Inani, a touristic place, full of people and crowd! Better if you go there between 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, you might not find many people walking around. We found a guy who owns beach chairs that costs 30 BDT per hour. We did a mistake by not counting time from the time we have taken that service and later he charged extra money! We preferred not to argue for some money but make sure you must not face any miscommunication again. The beach view is awesome but be careful about moving. Your safety is your responsibility. You won’t be able to find coast guards all the time to save you from the ocean. There are some other sea beaches in the city centre like Kolatoli, Sugondha, Laboni but that you can explore anytime because it’s inside the city. We walked few times and enjoy the night view.
Yann and I was hungry and were running out of time! We have decided to go to KFC and grabbed fast food that finished on our way to the Airport. We could have explored more but he had his flight on the next morning. So, we prefer to go back and relax before he flies.
